"A Rant"
July 15, 2004 10:25 pm
Ok, this is my second day of having to take care of bobby's dogs while he and his family is away on vacation. no problem. feed the dogs, no problem. feed the turtles, no problem. give dogs medication, no problem. spray dog with medicated spray for skin, no problem. walk the dogs.... @#($&^%@#$^&%$(&%@(&%*&$#*#@ kind of a problem.

If i take bella out first, i can't take bp, because bella gets so excited i can't get close enough to put the ONE leash on bp. if i take bp out first bella screams bloody murder till we come back.

ok, ok, now i probably should have asked bobby if there is a certain way i should walk them. but... oh wait that's right, I DID!! and he didn't give me any special tips! or any tips! ugh. this sucks majorly. grrrrr. much anger.

"Fixed ordering of entries and other various updates"
July 20, 2004 10:20 pm
I fixed the order of entries so they arent being ordered by their id number. they are now being ordered by date. this won't produce a visible effect to you all, but it's a definite difference in how it works.

Jess came home today! *HOORAY!!!* so i am very happy. but i am physically tired. so yeah.

I need to fix the dates to look prettier and not just a timestamp.

Everything finally worked out ok with walking bp and bella. mom helped me walk them and that was cool.

Oh, my new word is "Pshaw!"

I might be getting CSI pictures soo so i might put some of them up. :) it was great fun.

yeah. i'm tired... i think i'll look into the date stuff... yeah...

Wow, it's ever so much easier to make the date format when you use the correct function. :)

"Fun Stuff"
July 29, 2004 8:42 am
Well, I haven't had much time recently to do much on the site. Youth Creates has moved to 7 stages, and I have been busy with rehearsal. Also, school starts soon... FOR EVERYONEELSE!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! ahhhh, that felt good.

Oh, here's some publicity about youth creates:

I offer you "Youth Creates: Peace", created by the twenty-five students of
Youth Creates, a summer arts intensive at Seven Stages. Their topic was
presented as Global Peacmaking through Performance Art, and over the course
of five weeks they have researched, trained, experienced, visted MLK Center,
the History Center, Oakland Cemetery, viewed refugee art, seen films,
including F911, seen "Times" by YEA, and had to put up and deal with each
others' VASTLY different personalities and backgrounds. They range from age
10-18, no experience to quite a bit, rich, poor, car, no car, broken home,
traditional unit, alternative lifestyle parents, on and on and on.

The show started as a global idea, and it does have global elements, but it
has developed also as a deeply personal journey for the staff and the kids,
and I believe it will be for the audience as well.

They have written their own play, rehearsed it, teched it, designed it,
directed it, and now they are ready to perform, let me just say. It's been
a long, weird, crazy, exhausting, surprising, amazing, frustrating,
rewarding, beautiful experience.

The project is guided by Atlanta artists Heidi Howard, Bryan Mercer, Clint
Thornton, Micheal Tatman, Linda Burgess, Jessica Coale, Melissa Foulger, Joe
Gfaller, Merredeth (whose last name escapes me, forgive me, M.), and the
blessed Mamma YeYe, whom every theater should hire for the light she brings
your space.

If you are interested in the idea that art can cross all boundries, all
labels, all backgrounds, all ideologies and produce something that takes us
higher as human beings, then I joyously welcome you to "Youth Creates:
Peace", running August 6 and 7 at 8:00pm, Seven Stages Mainstage.

Clint, one of the leaders, posted that on the ATML (Atlanta Theatre Mailing List) which is a yahoo group that alot of atlanta actors use to communicate.

Ok, it's getting close to time for me to go, so i'll see you all later. peace out yo!

"Ahhh... no school..."
August 10, 2004 4:26 pm
Well.... It's been nice the past couple of days not really having much to do. just sorta being lazy and seeing friends, but not much else.

Youth Creates was alot of fun, but i'm not feeling the sadness that somepeople are, mainly (i think) because this was just like doing another play, and as most plays do, it came to an end. so i feel ok.

I think i'm going to start working on cooties of bill gates for PoG as soon as pasta makes bill gates destroyable....

that is all. ttfn.
